You are responsible for checking current requirements directly with the relevant cruise line, recruitment agency, concessionaire, embassy, medical provider, maritime authority, STCW provider, employer, tax professional, legal adviser, or other relevant professional.
You should not rely solely on information provided by us when making decisions about employment, travel, visas, medicals, tax, insurance, documentation, or maritime requirements.

Depending on the version of Sail for Success you purchase, you may receive access to one-to-one Zoom calls, CV feedback, mock interview preparation, group calls, Voxer support, or other mentorship services.
You are responsible for booking, attending, and preparing for any calls included in your purchase.
If you miss a scheduled call without reasonable notice, we reserve the right to treat that call as used.
We may reschedule calls where necessary due to illness, emergencies, technical issues, travel, or circumstances outside our control.
Mentorship support is intended to provide guidance, encouragement, feedback, and accountability. It does not guarantee employment, interviews, visas, medical clearance, documentation approval, or any specific outcome.
10. Voxer Access
If you purchase a version of Sail for Success that includes direct access to Lucy via Voxer, this access is provided for course-related support only.
Voxer support may include voice notes, direct messages, and, where appropriate, short support calls.
Voxer support is not intended for emergencies, legal advice, medical advice, immigration advice, therapy, crisis support, or unlimited instant access.
We aim to respond within a reasonable time, but we do not guarantee immediate responses.
We reserve the right to set boundaries around response times, availability, call length, communication frequency, and appropriate use of Voxer.
Voxer access is for the student only and must not be shared with anyone else.
11. Monthly Group Calls
Where included in your purchase, monthly group Zoom calls may be offered as part of Sail for Success.
These calls may be used for Q&A, additional guidance, student support, accountability, updates, or training.
Group call dates and times may vary.
If you cannot attend a live group call, a replay may be provided where appropriate, but this is not guaranteed unless specifically stated on the sales page.
You agree not to record, share, distribute, or publish any group call content without our written permission.
12. CV Feedback and Submitted Materials
If you submit your CV, resume, application documents, answers, screenshots, forms, or other materials to us for feedback, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and belongs to you.
You remain responsible for the final version of your CV, applications, documents, and submissions.
Our feedback is intended to help improve clarity, presentation, and relevance, but we do not guarantee that any CV, application, or interview answer will result in employment, interview invitations, or job offers.
You are responsible for ensuring that your CV and applications are truthful and not misleading.
13. User Content
You may be able to post, upload, submit, display, message, email, or otherwise share content through our website, course platform, community, social media pages, forms, or communication channels.
This may include text, files, documents, images, photos, videos, messages, comments, testimonials, reviews, CVs, questions, or other materials.
You retain ownership of the content you submit.
However, by submitting content to us or posting inside our community, you grant us permission to use, store, display, reproduce, and process that content as needed to provide the course, community, support, feedback, and services.
If you provide a testimonial, review, comment, screenshot, success story, video, or other feedback for marketing purposes, we will only use it publicly where we have your permission or where it has already been publicly posted by you.
You confirm that any content you submit:

We reserve the right to remove any content that we consider inappropriate, unlawful, misleading, offensive, or in breach of these Terms.
14. Testimonials and Success Stories
If you share a success story, testimonial, review, feedback, or results achieved through Sail for Success, we may ask for your permission to use it for marketing or promotional purposes.
We will not publicly share private information, private mentorship messages, CVs, mock interview recordings, or sensitive personal information without your permission.
If you give permission for a testimonial to be used, you can later contact us at lucy@cruisingascrew.com to request removal. We will make reasonable efforts to remove it from future marketing, although we cannot guarantee removal from materials already printed, published, shared, or distributed.
15. Payment Terms
Payment must be made in full or according to any payment plan offered at checkout.
By purchasing from us, you agree to pay the stated price for the product, course, programme, or service selected.
Prices may be shown in GBP, USD, or another currency, depending on the checkout page or payment provider.
You are responsible for any currency conversion fees, bank fees, taxes, duties, or charges applied by your payment provider or local authority.
Access to the course or services may be withheld until payment is successfully received.
16. Payment Plans
If a payment plan is offered and you choose to pay by instalments, you agree to complete all payments according to the payment schedule provided at checkout.
A payment plan is not a subscription that can be cancelled simply because you no longer wish to continue. It is a commitment to pay the full purchase price in instalments.
If a payment fails, we may contact you to update your payment details.
If payment remains outstanding, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the course, community, resources, calls, mentorship, and support until payment is brought up to date.
We may also take reasonable steps to recover unpaid amounts.
17. Refund Policy
Refunds are subject to the specific refund policy stated on the sales page or checkout page at the time of purchase.
Because Sail for Success includes digital content, resources, templates, spreadsheets, recruiter information, course access, community access, and/or personal support, refunds may be limited once access has been granted, unless otherwise stated.
If a refund policy is offered, you must request the refund in writing by emailing lucy@cruisingascrew.com.
Your refund request must be received within the stated refund period and must comply with any conditions listed on the relevant sales page or checkout page.
Refunds will not usually be granted because:
- You changed your mind after accessing the course
- You did not use the course
- You did not complete the course
- You failed to attend calls
- You did not take action on the guidance provided
- You expected a guaranteed job outcome
- You were unable to meet cruise ship employment, visa, medical, passport, STCW, background check, or other joining requirements
- You found out you are not eligible for a particular cruise ship role
- A third-party recruiter, cruise line, concessionaire, medical provider, or authority made a decision you disagree with
This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
18. Money-Back Guarantee
Where a money-back guarantee is offered, the terms of that guarantee will be outlined on the sales page or checkout page at the time of purchase.
If Sail for Success includes a conditional "get a cruise ship job or your money back" guarantee, you must meet all stated conditions to be eligible.
This may include, but is not limited to:
- Completing the course lessons
- Completing the required action steps
- Creating and updating your CV using the guidance provided
- Submitting your CV for feedback, where included
- Making the required improvements to your CV
- Applying to suitable roles for which you are realistically qualified
- Applying to the correct recruiters, agencies, cruise lines, or concessionaires
- Following the advice and application strategy provided
- Attending or completing mock interview preparation, where included
- Responding to recruiter communication professionally and in a timely manner
- Keeping records of applications submitted
- Providing evidence that you have taken consistent action
- Allowing the full guarantee period to pass
- Not rejecting suitable opportunities without reasonable cause
To request a refund under a conditional guarantee, you must contact us in writing at lucy@cruisingascrew.com.
You may be required to provide evidence that you completed the required steps and met the conditions of the guarantee.
The guarantee does not apply if you do not complete the course, do not apply for jobs, apply for roles you are not qualified for, fail to provide evidence, ignore advice, refuse suitable opportunities, or are unable to work on cruise ships due to legal, visa, passport, medical, background check, certification, availability, personal, or other eligibility issues outside our control.
19. Digital Products and Downloadable Resources
Some products or resources may be provided as digital downloads, spreadsheets, templates, PDFs, checklists, videos, links, or online materials.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the correct software, device, internet connection, and technical ability to access and use the materials.
We are not responsible for your inability to access materials due to your own device, software, internet connection, or technical limitations.
Digital resources may be updated, changed, removed, or replaced at our discretion.
20. Recruitment Agency and Cruise Line Information
Sail for Success may include lists of cruise lines, recruitment agencies, concessionaires, STCW providers, medical providers, visa information, maritime resources, itinerary websites, and other useful links.
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information, but we cannot guarantee that every link, contact, recruiter, agency, cruise line, job vacancy, requirement, or process will remain current or unchanged.
Recruitment agencies, cruise lines, concessionaires, and maritime organisations are independent third parties. We do not control their hiring decisions, communication, policies, requirements, timelines, or recruitment processes.
You are responsible for checking current information directly with the relevant third party before taking action.
